Ultimate Bacon Sandwich

Relying on the British weather is tough, especially when your backyard BBQ is sitting there, calling your name. Sun or not, we’re here to help. Release your inner chef with our series of all-weather recipes, easily made from the comfort of your kitchen (if raining) or bbq (if sunny). 

So tongs out, umbrellas away, ‘Kiss The Chef’ apron on. Let’s cook.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Makes 1

  • 2 Slices white bloomer

  • 3 Rashers streaky or back bacon

  • 2 Tomato slices

  • 2-3 Leaves little gem lettuce

  • 2 Tbsp GBK Blue Cheese Mayo

  • 30g Blue cheese – gorgonzola or stilton

  • 1 Tbsp GBK House relish

METHOD:

  1. Start by crumbling the blue cheese and mixing it through the GBK Blue Cheese Mayo.

  2. Grill or pan-fry the bacon to your liking.

  3. Toast the bloomer slices. Spread the GBK House Relish on the bottom slice, add the lettuce, tomato and bacon. Spoon the GBK Blue Cheese Mayo on the other slice and place on top.
